Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in many films and TV series, including "Christy", a comedy about a teenage girl called Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin, the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career in acting when she was seven when her aunt who worked as a nanny to actor Michael Landon's children helped Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed substantial roles, both on the small screen and the big screen. Martin was also as a dancer and photographer. The mother of two daughters Martin is the Lupus representative and promotes awareness about the condition every day since the death of her sister when she was 19 years old.
